When performing Email Marketing, your reports will show "Bounce Rates".
Bounce Rates are indicators of email deliveries and they tell you which emails that are not delivered, and why.
You will see 3 different bounce rates:
Hard Bounce
Soft Bounce
Internal Bounce
Hard Bounce - These are email addresses that are not valid. They may have been good at one point, but are totally undeliverable now because the destination server tells us that the email address no longer exists.
Soft Bounce - This may be a temporary issue and the delivery will be attempted at a later date or time. This error is temporary.
Internal Bounce - These emails were blocked or blacklisted. They may or may not be valid, but for the purposes of our network, the email address will not be delivered because either our Network or the receiver of the email, has blocked delivery.
With the COVID pandemic, many businesses are closed, so expect a lot of bounces the first few times a delivery is attempted. Your account will clean itself by removing or blacklisting non-deliverable emails. We simply replenish your lists and keep on mailing :-)
